Planned additions to the installed wind speed measurement instruments include the Taiwan Space Agency(TASA)'s Wind Hunter Satellite (TRITON) project's Global Navigation Satellite System-Reflectometry (GNSS-R) for receiving signals, and a wavemeter.

The installation of the GNSS-R on the Fuhai Met Mast will enable the collected wind speed and wind field data to be analyzed and compared with other wind speed instruments (such as cup anemometers and LIDAR). This data analysis not only supports academic research but also assists in the on-site validation of the primary payload GNSS-R wind speed instrument on the TRITON Satellite. The expected outcome is a substantial contribution to the independent technological development of offshore wind energy in Taiwan.
